Are We Living "The Way" Part 4
The critical distinctions within first-century Judaism help us understand the Apostolic writings, particularly regarding how people from the Nations (Gentiles) related to God and the Jewish community. We discovered that in the first century, there were two types of Gentiles: pagans who worshiped idols, and God-fearers who worshiped the God of Israel without fully converting to Judaism. Understanding this distinction is essential for properly interpreting Paul's letters and the book of Acts, and it has direct implications for how we live out our faith today—neither earning salvation through works nor using grace as an excuse for lawlessness, but rather walking in obedience to God's teachings as an expression of our relationship with Him. #messianic #messianicservice #messianicteaching
